Support Nilijah’s Journey to Nationals – A SHIELD Mentee with Big Dreams

At the SHIELD Mentor Program, we believe that every young life deserves a mentor—and every dream deserves a chance.

Nilijah is one of those dreams in motion. As a graduating senior, she has excelled with straight A’s while serving in leadership roles through student government, church, the National Honor Society, and her track and field team. She's also a proud participant in our SHIELD Saturday Leadership Academy (SSLA), where she grew her confidence, time management skills, and commitment to leading by example.

Now, Nilijah has earned a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: she has qualified to compete at Track & Field Nationals in Philadelphia, June 18–22. She’s also been accepted to Howard University, where she’ll run track and pursue her academic goals.

We are seeking to raise $1,500 to cover her travel, lodging, and registration costs—and we’re inviting our community to rally behind this incredible young leader.
