Help Us Continue the Mission—One Robot at a Time

This is more than robotics—it’s mentorship, leadership, and opportunity.

EagleTron, FRC Team 9559, powered by the SHIELD Mentor Program, has already accomplished so much in its first official season—culminating in the Judges' Award at the 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition in Mecklenburg County. But this is just the beginning.

We’re building more than robots. We’re guiding young lives through mentorship, leadership, and hands-on learning that prepares them to overcome adversity and step into their future with confidence.

Why Your Support Matters Your donation helps us continue offering year-round robotics experiences for rising 7th–12th grade students. With your investment, we can:

  • Expand our summer and fall robotics workshops
  • Provide tools, materials, and safety gear for off-season builds
  • Cover transportation and meals for students
  • Offer mentorship and career exposure through STEM-focused events

This is your chance to directly impact the next generation of thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers.

Ways to Give

  • One-time Donation: Every gift fuels learning, teamwork, and growth.
  • Monthly Giving: Provide ongoing support that sustains our program all year long.
  • Sponsor a Student: Help one student fully participate for a season.
  • Corporate Matching: Double your impact through employer giving programs.

Your contribution is tax-deductible and directly supports our youth.

Our Impact So Far

  • 100+ hours of team mentorship and robotics training
  • 1 award-winning competition robot built from scratch
  • Multiple young lives introduced to STEM and leadership opportunities

We believe every child deserves someone to guide and believe in them. With your help, we can continue to offer that and more.
